About Us

Introduction

DSME Engineering Sdn Bhd is a fully owned Bumiputra company managed by young and competence Bumiputra’s with vast experience in hydraulic fields. The company is dedicated to the supply of machinery equipment and subsequently providing services in the engineering related fields such as hydraulic systems refuse compactor, recycling compactor and etc to government, semi-government and public sectors. Since its inception, the company has actively established its business with:

In short, DSME stands for Design, Supply, Maintenance and Environment. DSME Engineering Sdn Bhd has emerged as a leading manufacturer in ‘Environmental and Waste Engineering Management’. From humble beginning, the company has established its reputation as a reliable and resourceful leader in managing the environmental waste system. With competence and experienced technical personnel the company is ready to undertake any project regardless of size.

Design

We design and fabricate of hydraulic system, vehicle equipment, refuse compactor and heavy duty disposal system.

Supply

We also supply hydraulic system, vehicle equipment, refuse compactor, heavy duty disposal system, sanitary and kitchen waste equipment.

Maintenance

We provide maintenance schedule and service of hydraulic system, refuse compactor and heavy duty disposal system.

Environmental

Environmental concern, our top priority in term of design, supply and maintenance.

About the Company

DSME Engineering Sdn Bhd has the expertise, the manpower, and the certifications that support and endorse the company performance levels and delivery standards. All we need presently is to leverage on these capacities to develop new markets overseas and to capitalize on local presence. 
 
The company plans to widen the range of products and carry out Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services to our required customers with the view to broaden and increase our business entity in revenue streams.

15 years ago, we began as a small refuse compactor and disposal system manufacturer. Today we still supply refuse compactor, mobile garbage bin, disposal system and more. That “more” is providing the very best customer service, customer experience, and company culture. We aim to inspire the world by showing it’s possible to simultaneously deliver happiness to customers, employees, vendors, shareholders, and the community in a long-term, sustainable way.

We hope that in the future people won’t even realize we started selling refuse compactor. Instead, they’ll know DSME as a service company that just happens to sell.

Maj Gen (Rtd) Dato’ Seri Hj. Khairuddin bin Hj. Abu Bakar, a Malaysian aged 72, was graduated from Charles Sturt University, Australia in Master of Business Administration. He served in the Malaysian Army for 38 years, specializing in procurement, warehousing, inventory management and logistics operation. He was born on 13 May 1950 in Alor Setar, Kedah Darul Aman. He is married to Datin Dr Hjh Fowzia binti Osman PhD and blessed with six children. He started his career in the Royal Malaysian Ordnance Corps and served in various capabilities. Among the appointments held were Principle Provision Officer at Central Ordnance Depot, Senior Logistics, Operations & Plan at UNISOM Headquarters in Somalia, Deputy Commandant cum Head of Management of the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College, Director of Defence Policy at the Malaysian Armed Forces Headquarters, Assistant Chief of Staff Army Logistics at Army Headquarters, and General Officer Commanding Logistics Division. He retired on 12 May 2006 in the rank of Major General.

He did stint of courses abroad namely, Commonwealth and Foreign Ordnance Officer course in United Kingdom, Senior Ordnance Officer Management in India, Ordnance Officer Advance course in United States of America and Institute of Industrial Engineers in Australia. Besides attending courses abroad, he attended seminars in Fiji, China, South Korea and Greece. He is awarded a Member with the Malaysian Institute of Management. He is also a graduate of the Malaysian Armed Defence College, Kuala Lumpur. Currently, he holds the post of President of The Royal Ordnance Veteran Association, a non-governmental organization.

Through his excellence service to the nation, he was conferred Dato Setia Diraja Kedah (DSDK), Johan Setia Mahkota (JSM), Pahlawan Angkatan Tentera (PAT), Setia Diraja Kedah (SDK), Kesatria Mangku Negara (KMN), Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang (PBK), Bintara Setia Kelantan (BSK), and United Nations medal (while serving in Somalia).

Dato’ Hj. Rashedi bin Ramli, a Malaysian aged 51. He was graduated from Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Kuantan in MBA, Corporate Management. He was a share Holder of DSME Engineering Sdn Bhd since March 2005. He was also graduated with a Diploma in Automobile Petrol Diesel from Gemini Institute, Kuala Lumpur. Holds a Diploma in Mechatronics from, Institute Mutha Automation Technology, Mechanical Engineering from, Institute Kemahiran Belia Negara, Dusun Tua Hulu Langat, Selangor and Certificate in Autocad from Institute of Cosmopoint, Kuala Lumpur. May 2006 in the rank of Major General.

Born on 29 October 1971 in Kampung Kepala Parit, Kota Setar, Tokai, Kedah. Married and blessed four childrens. He was the Independent Non – Executive Director in Engineering Division of Status Jaya Sdn Bhd and has 28 years experience in Engineering industry, Waste Management System and Hydraulic System.

He started his career as a molder parts with Watta Battery. After having 3 years of experience, he served with MAS and been employed as Aircraft Maintenance. He then in charge of Hydro system and Molding. In order to gain practical experience in sales, he was offered as Senior Technical Manager with Growell Co. In hydraulic system and Tidy Way Sdn Bhd in waste management system.

His vision is to be a successful entrepreneur in manufacturing industry. To achieve this, his philosophy is to gain more practical experience and acquire relevant knowledge suited to current demands.
