Trash To Cash Upcycling Program And PPR Pekan Kepong Community Garden Activities
On Sunday morning 21 March 2021, Dr. Daroyah Alwi launched the ‘Program Upcycling Trash to Cash dan Aktiviti Kebun Komuniti di PPR Pekan Kepong’. The program were attended by Tuan Mohd Zahir, Pengarah SWCorp Wilayah Persekutuan, Pengerusi Persatuan Sosio Ekonomi dan Alam Sekitar-PERSEAS, Pengurusan Tertinggi DSME Waste Management SDN BHD, Wakil Local Agenda 21 Kuala Lumpur, Nation Of Women NOW – Selangor and PPR Pekan Kepong community.
This program is one of the initiatives carried out through a smart partnership between SWCorp, DSME Waste Management and PPR Pekan Kepong community. It is the intention of the government through Kementerian Perumahan Dan Kerajaan Tempatan for this program to be intensified and exposed to all levels of society.
